About Me
Meet LaToya
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Holistic Sex Therapist
Florida Qualified Supervisor
I'm LaToya St. Pierre, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado, and Florida Qualified Supervisor. I help adults navigate trauma, relationship challenges, sexual wellness concerns, life transitions, and personal growth through a holistic, trauma-informed approach
to therapy.
I believe healing happens when we honor the connection between mind, body, relationships, culture, and spirit. Whether you're seeking relief from emotional pain, deeper self-understanding, healthier relationships, or a more meaningful connection with yourself, therapy can provide a space for growth, healing, and transformation.
My goal is to offer a compassionate, collaborative environment where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to create lasting change.

Care That Honors the Whole Person
Mastering You offers psychotherapy and professional support grounded in a holistic, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and collaborative approach.
I work with adults and couples seeking support with trauma, anxiety, relationships, sexual wellness, identity, life transitions, self-esteem, and personal growth. I also provide clinical supervision for emerging therapists who want to strengthen their clinical skills, professional identity, and reflective practice.
Whether we are exploring an individual concern, strengthening a relationship, addressing intimacy and sexuality, or supporting your development as a clinician, our work begins with curiosity about the whole person—not simply the problem that brought you here.

Healing is not simply about changing how you think. It is about understanding what shaped you, reconnecting with yourself, and developing greater choice in how you move forward.

Ways to Work With Me
If you're considering therapy, a complimentary consultation gives us an opportunity to connect, briefly discuss what brings you in, and determine whether my approach feels like the right fit for your needs. Choose the consultation that best reflects the support you're seeking.

Collaborative
Reflective
Intentional
Therapy is not something I do to you. It is work we engage in together. My approach integrates trauma-informed care, cultural responsiveness, reflection, evidence-informed practices, and attention to the whole person. Together, we explore patterns, relationships, experiences, strengths, identities, and the broader context of your life so that change can be meaningful and sustainable.
MY APPROACH
What Is Whole-Person Care?
Understanding You in Context
If someone were to ask you, "what makes you, you?", how might you answer? Could you narrow it down to just one part of yourself? Are you only ever just one thing? Being a human is complex and there are many experiences, feelings, thoughts, relationships, and beliefs that contribute to that complexity.
Whole-person care aims to increase awareness and acceptance of this idea. There is a certain level of interconnectedness around every part of your life. An action or belief in one area of your life may affect your behavior in another area of your life. Understanding these underlying connections can support a healthier relationship with yourself, others, and the world around you.
Where I Stand
Positionality, Values & Accountability
At Mastering You, I recognize that therapy does not happen in a vacuum—and neither do I. Who we are, where we come from, and the cultures, histories, relationships, identities, and systems that shape us all matter in the therapeutic space. I remain committed to cultural humility, examining power and privilege, and engaging in ongoing reflection, learning, and unlearning as part of ethical and accountable practice.
