A Little Bit About Me.

We All Start Somewhere.

First Belief

Healing happens in relationships—especially the relationship we cultivate with ourselves.

Second Belief

The mind, body, and spirit are interconnected, and lasting change occurs when we honor the whole person.

Third Belief

You are not defined by your wounds, your diagnosis, or your past. Growth begins when you reconnect with your inherent worth, wisdom, and resilience.

I'm LaToya

I'm LaToya St. Pierre, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado, and Florida Qualified Supervisor. I help adults navigate trauma, relationship challenges, sexual wellness concerns, life transitions, and personal growth through a holistic, trauma-informed approach

to therapy.

I believe healing happens when we honor the connection between mind, body, relationships, culture, and spirit. Whether you're seeking relief from emotional pain, deeper self-understanding, healthier relationships, or a more meaningful connection with yourself, therapy can provide a space for growth, healing, and transformation.

My goal is to offer a compassionate, collaborative environment where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to create lasting change.

This is My Story.

My journey into this work began long before I earned my degrees or professional licenses. As a highly sensitive, intuitive person, I have always been drawn to understanding human experiences, especially suffering, resilience, and healing.

Growing up, I witnessed the impact that trauma, addiction, loss, and systemic inequities can have on individuals, families, and communities. These experiences sparked a deep curiosity about why people struggle, how people heal, and what helps us reconnect with ourselves after life's most difficult moments.

That curiosity led me to pursue advanced training in mental health counseling, addiction counseling, trauma recovery, and holistic wellness. Along the way, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations in community mental health, private practice, higher education, correctional settings, and international humanitarian contexts.

Through both my personal and professional experiences, I have come to believe that healing is rarely about fixing what is broken. More often, it is about uncovering what has been buried, reclaiming what has been lost, and learning to relate to ourselves with greater compassion and understanding.

Today, I feel honored to walk alongside individuals who are seeking healing, growth, self-discovery, and more meaningful connections with themselves and others.

My Approach

I take a holistic, trauma-informed approach to therapy that recognizes the interconnectedness of mind, body, relationships, culture, and spirit. While I draw from evidence-based practices, I also understand that healing is not a one-size-fits-all process.

My work is grounded in collaboration, curiosity, and respect. I view therapy as a partnership where we work together to better understand your experiences, identify patterns that may no longer serve you, and develop practical tools for creating meaningful change.

Depending on your goals, our work may include exploring the impact of trauma, strengthening relationships, improving emotional regulation, developing self-compassion, addressing sexual wellness concerns, building mindfulness skills, or reconnecting with parts of yourself that have been neglected or silenced.

I strive to create a space where all parts of your story are welcome—your strengths, your struggles, your questions, and your hopes. Together, we can explore what is keeping you stuck, identify what supports your growth, and create a path forward that feels authentic and sustainable.

I don't believe healing is about becoming someone new. I believe it is about remembering who you are beneath the pain, the survival strategies, and the expectations that have shaped your life. My role is not to tell you who to become, but to support you in reconnecting with the wisdom, resilience, and wholeness that already exist within you.
